Welcome to the House of Hufflepuff!

The Harry Potter Craze has ended or better yet, people had shifted their attention to currently ongoing books and series. As I had stated in a previous post of mine, I just finished reading the books over the summer. So basically, I still have a hungover and the World of Witches and Wizardry is fresh in my mind.

To the Harry Potter fanatics, Pottermore is no stranger. Its more like a continuation of the magical world of Harry Potter but this time, you get to be your own character and experience stuffs Harry did, like brewing potions and casting spells. Its like your reading the books but you also get to visualize and enjoy what the story is all about.

Pottermore used to be limited to the lucky ones, but all of a sudden its open to all. I created an account there just this Monday because of Donna's complaints that she can't access the website from her laptop. Luckily, I was able to get in and I am really enjoying the experience.

One reason why I joined Pottermore is because I wanted to be sorted. In the real world, or to be exact, for accountancy students of UPV, we were sorted into four houses: Weygandt, Ricchiute, Barfield and my house, Skousen. These four houses are similar to the four houses in the Harry Potter books. I got sorted on the same day I joined Pottermore and I belong to the HOUSE OF HUFFLEPUFF. The House of Hufflepuff is more or less the equivalent of the House of Skousen. So I guess I can clear all doubts now if I really belonged to the House of Skousen.

Chopsticks Again!

I love Japanese stuffs. I like watching animes and I'm really fascinated by cherry blossoms and the Japanese culture. In fact, Japan is one of the places I'd like to visit someday and I really want to learn how to speak and write in Japanese. But I am not alone. My friend Donna share my thoughts. So it wasn't really hard for Nadin to convince us to eat at this Japanese restaurant which is just a few walks away from our dormitory. She talked about craving to eat using chopsticks last Tuesday but it was just this Wednesday that the idea finally got into action. The reason? Well, its' basically we have an upcoming major exam this Saturday, so we don't have much time to go around having food trips.

The name of the restaurant is Namie. It's nothing really spectacular. I wasn't really impressed with the food, but it taste just fine. Anyways, I still had fun with my roomies.

Oh. I still don't know how to use chopsticks. I really have to learn it. Nadin, Donna and I had eaten before in other Japanese restaurants and I feel so sort of depressed because I'm the only one who doesn't know how to eat using chopsticks. Soon, I will learn how to use it. Haha. Hopefully.

To My OWN SUN

You are my sun. Though you are miles away from me, I can still feel your warmth, love and presence. You are my source of light, for your radiance shine upon me, always showing me the right way. You are my source of hope and inspiration, for you always remind me that after the darkness, the sun will rise and a new day will begin. You are my source of life, for without you, I wouldn't be here in this world.

Happy Father's Day to the Best DAD in the world. Thank you for everything. I love you so much. Sorry for not being the world's best daughter. I know I have failed you a lot of times. But whatever happens, you always stood by me.

-This was the text message I sent my dad this father's day. This is perhaps the most personal message I have given him. I wrote this myself, which is unlike the messages I sent him the past years. Yes, I do write a lot of stuffs, but this is actually the first time I sent him a message that I wrote myself.

To all the fathers out there, HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!! Enjoy your day!:)
And of course, we shouldn't forget the FATHER OF ALL FATHERS, our Almighty Father, this is also his day! So... HAPPY FATHER'S DAY PAPA GOD!!!:))

One Down.Many to Go.

One down. Many more hell weeks to go.

It's just a week after class started but I already feel the pressure and stress seeping through my veins. It's just the first week of school yet my professors make me feel like it's halfway down the school year. Time seems to move so fast now that I'm back in school. Exams are already on their way so I can't afford to make any detours along the way. That means I can't read novels until the sembreak and less surfing the internet. With lots of readings to do, I barely have time to write in this blog, so pardon me if my presence will be less felt for the coming months.

It's the start of a new school year after all which comes with it new goals to be achieved. I want to stay focused. I guess that's one of the reasons why I survived my 3rd year in the course. I plan on getting higher grades this year and hopefully, I could materialize it. So wish me luck!
