Going Crazy over 'A Little Thing Called LOVE'

Just finished watching A Little Thing Called Love. This is the first time I watched a Thai movie, but I must say that I really enjoyed it.

The movie was about Nam and Shone having feelings for each other but had kept their feelings for so long. I must say that the storyline is not new to my ears. I have heard stories of Mr. Oh-so-handsome-and-perfect falling in love with an ugly duckling turned swan and here comes bestfriend-turned-rival-making-me-promise-not-to-steal-his-girl-away. But in each of those I've heard, the end will never be the same. Often, it's a happy ending but it's always in a different way. This time, the movie ended not the way I expected it and I was really disappointed because I was in the verge of crying again when suddenly the film's credits started to roll.

The movie had a mix of comedy, drama, and of course, romance. I love the 2 main characters. Nam is so pretty and really have a good set of teeth. Shone, oh gosh! He's simply too cute and admirable that I already stopped wondering why my schoolmates now have crushes on him. Though the story was kinda familiar, I was really touched and moved by the scenes that it sent me crying and laughing at the same time at some part of the movie. I really laughed my heart out with some part of the movie, especially Teacher In's scenes. I also loved Nam and her friends friendship.

This was the scene where Shone told Nam about the squid's story.

My favorite part? It was the day when Nam admitted her love for Shone and that same night when Shone opened that notebook (which contained too many picture of Nam with cute and romantic captions on it) and reminisced the past.

Coincidentally, me, Donna and Nadin have similar bears. They're all so small, have ribbons and they just look similar. Aww. They're so cute:)

Bookworm in the Making

I wasn't an avid reader back in high school. My first attempt of ever finishing a novel was a disaster. That book was Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix. Even though I love the Harry Potter series, that time, I wasn't getting a grip on what's happening in the story. So I have to reread it many times to understand it and ended up giving up. I love reading. That's all. I love to read my lessons and even the stories in my younger brother's book that I was always the one to first open his books instead of him. ha-ha! There was this book in our library that was  a compilation of Shakespeare's works. It was really nice that every time I have a time, I would read it over again, even if I was supposed to study for quiz bees and stuffs. So I said that sometime, I will read Shakespeare's other works.

When I was in first year college, a friend of mine, Nadin, encouraged me to read books. At first I was hesistant, but eventually agreed. She let me borrow her Twilight novel(I know I'm a late Twilight fanatic) and it started everything. FYI, I finished reading it in just one day(even if I still got to do a lot of stuff). Since then I've been borrowing some of her books. I read when I have time and even if I have study for an exam.

This is the book that I am currently reading. It is about two women who used to be bestfriends back in high school until a secret tore them apart.

This is the last two books of the Twilight Saga. Eclipse was the first book I ever bought and it went with me to Boracay and even experienced typhoon Ondoy. haha. Plus it had been borrowed by some of my friends. No wonder it looks overused. I bought Breaking Dawn as a Christmas present for myself.

I so love Danielle Steel. By the way, Dating Game was a gift I received from my friend Donna when we had an exchange gifts.

These are some of the books that I own. But I'm planning to buy many books in the future.
